She is survived by: her husband Reese Slaughter; her daughters, June Piedmont (Tom) of Canton and Ellen Winton (Tracy) of Columbia, Mississippi; her granddaughter Elizabeth Souhlas (Nicholas); and her great grandchildren, Malachi Souhlas and Asher Souhlas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Bremen First United Methodist Church (321 Hamilton Ave, Bremen, GA 30110). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Bremen (321 Hamilton Ave, Bremen, GA 30110).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Bremen First United Methodist Church or the Bremen Educational Fund.
