She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pryor Boatwright and Norine Brake Boatwright; her husband James Travis Reid; her son Kevin Wyatt Reid; her sister Helen Boatwright Smith; and her brother-in-law Leon Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Davis of Peachtree City, Andy Reid (Brenda) of Perry, Emily Byrd (Gary) of Hamilton and Celia Smith (Kenneth) of Adel, Georgia.; and her grandchildren, Jordan Davis (Valerie), Travis Reid (Lizzy), Galen Reid, Elizabeth Ludlow (Stefan), Virginia Braswell (James), Victoria Parker (Roscoe) and Laura Tucker. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hightower Funeral Home (318 Gordon St, Bremen, GA 30110). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
