With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Harold Hamrick of Bremen, Georgia, who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James Harold shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James Harold farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Hamrick and Louise Willis Hamrick; and his siblings, Selma Jean Brown and Dr. Wayne Hamrick. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Shedd Hamrick; his sons, James Hamrick (Rachel) of Sharpsburg and Danny Hamrick (Laurel) of Kentucky; and his stepson Keith Locklear (Gayla) of Bremen. He is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hightower Funeral Home (318 Gordon St, Bremen, GA 30110). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
