He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Connell and Lottie E. Connell; and his brothers, Jimmy Connell, George Connell and Kenneth Connell.
He is survived by: his sister Charlotte Phillips; his nephew Kevin Phillips; his wife Nancy Connell; his children, Kimberly A. Holland (Chris) and Wayne E. Connell, Jr. (Natalie); his grandchildren, Adam Holland (Sarah), Jacob Holland (Morgan), John Holland, Hannah Bell, Kayley Bell, Holli Baker (Chasen), Sarah Beth Joslin, Caroline Joslin, Emma Kate Joslin, Ashlyn Godwin (Alex), Dylan Connell (Evelina) and Brent McKeehan (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Zoey Giles, Emma McKeehan, Jaxon McKeehan, Nolan Holland, Zoie Baker, Colton Holland and Yeva Connell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park South Chapel (5257 Hwy 53, Braselton, GA 30517).
