We bid farewell to Vernell Gooch of Braselton, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 28, 2024 at the age of 83. Vernell touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Sullens and Lula Anderson Sullens; her son Billy Gooch; and her siblings, Clifton Sullens, Grover Sullens and Cora Lee Boggs.

She is survived by: her children, Stanley (Kelley Gooch), Danny (Crystal Gooch), Donna Gooch of Braselton and Carolyn (Wayne Knight); her siblings, Eugene Sullens of Lula and Glenda Garner of Dahlonega; and her sister-in-law Jerri Sullens of Homer. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 11 great great-grandchildren.
