He is survived by: his wife Peggy Gooby; his brother Mark Gooby (Wilma); his children, Eric Gooby (Chantae), Kelly Ballard (Gary) and Addie Carithers (Zeke); and his grandchildren, Owen Gooby, Harper Gooby and Tate Carithers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel (4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA 30548). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
