She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Sonny" Lawson; and her parents, James C. Harris and Leoma Harris. She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Smith, Mary Lawson, Donna Creech (William) and Sunnie Acevedo (Gabriel); and her brother James C. Harris, III (Jean). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
