He is survived by: his wife Shelby Crowe Stancil of Braselton; his children, Chuck Caldwell (Donna) of Jefferson, Tammy Sweat (Larry) of Hoschton and Larry Paul Stancil of Jefferson; his siblings, Louise Longabough of Snellville and Billy Stancil (Louise) of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Kari Mathis (Zack), Taylor Nix (Jacob), Sarah Cannon (Hunter), Destiny Timms (Wyatt) and Chelsea Rae Stancil; and his great grandchildren, Emma Jade Mathis, Liam McClane Mathis, Braxton Worley, Breydon Sweat and Charleigh Jo Sweat.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maddox-Carter Memorial (265 GA Hwy 211, Winder, GA 30680). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at the Hoschton City Cemetery West Broad.
