He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Varn and Jennie Thomas Mills. He is survived by: his wife Mary Tom; his children, Tara Mason (Stacey), Jennifer Trudeau (Scott) and Cliff (Kate); his stepchildren, Cleve Long and Lisa Sherrill; his brother John "Buddy" Varn; his grandchildren, Blake Lanier, Max Mason, Jacob, Brooklyn Trudeau, Garrett Crane, Ethan, Hudson Varn, Cooper, Avery Long, Jack and Will Sherrill; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Harper Crane, Karson, Maci Lanier and Stiles Simons. He is also survived by three friends.
