He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Coley and Virdie Davis Coley; his wife Annie Coley; his son James Coley; and his sisters, Martha Harris and Ethel Harris.

He is survived by: his son Gary Coley, Jr. (Penny) of Talmo; his stepdaughter Tammy Harkins (David) of Braselton; and his siblings, Jack Coley of Gainesville and Judy Stevens of Cornelia. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.

Due to the current conditions with the Coronavirus Pandemic the family will have a graveside service 1:00 p. m. Wednesday May 6, 2020 at the Alta Vista Cemetery.
