It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Austin Edge of Braselton, Georgia, born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Lucille Smith; her son Gary Harold Edge; her brothers, Charles Holland and Ray Long Robert Long; and her grandson Joshua David Edge.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Edge Nation, David Edge (Becky), Denise Edge and Keith Edge (Debi); her grandchildren, Jessica Hulsey, Shane Hulsey (Orapun), Skye Chancey (Karla), Crystal Christian (Adam), Ty Nation, Jordan Edge (Chelsea), Brooke Flaa (Kenny) and Angela Harris (Bradley); and her great grandchildren, Kade Christian, Reese Christian, Wade Pirtle, Addison Edge, Jackson Farr, Emery Nation, Charlie Edge, TJ Harris, Wren Flaa, Henry Edge, Lucy Harris, Layne and Tyler Chancey.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to New Liberty United Methodist Church at 17 Thompson Mill Road, Braselton, GA 30517.
