It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aimee Yvette Lafakis (Braselton, Georgia), who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Billy Welch and Helen Burchfield Welch; her daughters, Alexis Hopper and Scarlett Adams; her sisters, Angel, Cherry Welch and DeeAnne; her brother-in-law Greg Wingo; her grandchild London Lipscomb; her cousin Courtnia Simpkins Turner; and her nieces and nephews, Tim Johnson, Alyssa Wingo, Lidia Wingo, Taylor Crawford and Gabriel DeLong. She is also survived by several other cousins, aunts and uncles.
