He is survived by: his parents, Sam T. Rigdon Sr. and Carol Barfield Rigdon of Buena Vista, GA; his daughter Brittney Rigdon DeNova; his son-in-law Joey DeNova of Flowery Branch, GA; and his siblings, Linda, Matt Gilligan of Roswell, GA, John, Minda Rigdon of Buena Vista, GA, Sue Ann and Brian Mitchell of Athens, GA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and a great nephew, along with countless special friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in the name of Sammy Rigdon.
