It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Thurmond Staton of Bowman, Georgia, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odis Thomas and Harriett Thurmond Staton. He is survived by: his children, Andrea (Jimmy Hinson), Jill (Thomas Haney), Debbie Staton and Kevin Staton; his grandchildren, Kayla, Kain, Tori and Gage; his granddaughter-in-law Kenzi; his great grandchildren, Rayden and Dakota; his brother Larry Staton; and his former wife Faye Staton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
