He was predeceased by: his parents, John Junior Blackwell and Lady B. McIntosh Blackwell. He is survived by: his wife Doris Natasha Hood Blackwell; his children, Jerrious Blackwell and Miracle Ty'Nasia Blackwell; his siblings, Robert, Oscar Blackwell, George Blackwell, Lisa Blackwell, Linda Blackwell and Gladys Burton; his mother-in-law Dorothy "Mama" Maxwell; his siblings-in-law, Melissa Hood, Tawanda Hood and Kevin Maxwell; and his nephew Calvin Blakely. He is also survived by three grandsons.
