He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edward Hammond, Sr. and Anna Dudzek Hammond; and his sister Elizabeth Hammond Moore. He is survived by: his wife Janice Carol Davis Hammond; his children, Shannon Hammond of Cape Girardeau, Mary Hammond of Cape Girardeau, Carmen Shadron of Loveland, Henry'Edward'Hammond, III of Bowman and Anna Hammond of Bowman, Georgia; his brother Andrew Hammond of Bastrop, Texas; and his brothers-in-law, Clarke (Peggy Davis), Gene and Jackie Davis of Carnesville, Georgia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and twelve nieces and nephews.
