He was predeceased by: his father Freeman Bolden; and his child Lourvon Bolden Lewis. He is survived by: his children, George M. Heard, Josephine Lewis (Carter) and Elaine Billingsley; his sisters, Dorothy Lawrence, Mamie Moon (Willie), Patricia Fortson, Blondene Owensby (Mack) and Faye Bolden; and his siblings-in-law, George Heard, David Heard (Mary), Paul Heard, Otis Heard (Nancy), Alma Oliver and Jerri Bolden.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Mack's Funeral Home, Elberton Chapel (320 College Ave, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hall Grove Baptist Church (2582 Deep Creek Rd, Bowman, GA 30624). A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at the same location.
