She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Gunnin, Sr. and Vera Dutton Gunnin; her husband John "Johnny" Wilson; her brothers, Rick Gunnin and Ray Gunnin; and her grandson Harlan Rushing.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Hix (Tom) of Hartwell, Lisa Bucksot (Jeff) of Toccoa, John James Wilson (Joyce) of Hartwell, Linda Pierce (Mike) of Hartwell and Kathi Jo Vaughn (Johnny) of Hartwell; and her siblings, James E. "Bud" Gunnin (Jane) of Canton, GA and Faye Hughes (Roger) of Midlothian, VA. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
