He is survived by: his wife Katie Rutledge Maxwell; his children, Bobby "Pete" Maxwell Jr. (Amanda), Brenda Cooper (Donnie) and Phillip Maxwell (Cady); his grandchildren, Alex and Nicole; his great grandchildren, Brook, Brinsley and Evelyn Jo; and his sister Faye Brown.
