She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnson Haley McDowell and Fannie Ruth Brown McDowell; and her siblings, Pat McDowell, Billy McDowell and Kenneth McDowell.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Eltz (Garry) of Woodstock, GA, Terry Rose of Jacksonville, FL, Gary Rose (Marilyn) of Athens, GA and Larry Rose of Dallas, GA; her grandchildren, Michael Phillips of McDonough, GA and Hannah Hill (Jonathan) of Danielsville, GA; her great grandchild Harper Hill of Danielsville, GA; and her siblings, Laverne Massey of Suffolk, VA, Linda Scott (Jerry) of Bowman, GA and Ronnie McDowell (Karen) of Bowman, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
