She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Dees and Willie Blanche Dees; her husband Alvin Chambers; and her siblings, Howell Dees, Billy Dees, Bonnie Manry and Johnny Dees.
She is survived by: her son George; her daughter-in-law Candi Chambers of Bowdon, Georgia; her grandchildren, Kaleb Chambers and Taylor Chambers; her niece Jane Lanham; her nephew Allan Deas; and her caregivers, Gloria Springer and Marie Realethford.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Victory Methodist Church (1994 Victory Church Rd, Bowdon, GA 30108).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like for those wishing to do so to make contributions in Mrs. Chambers' memory to Old Victory Methodist Church (P.O. Box 1093, Carrollton, GA 30112) or Tanner Hospice (P.O. Box 1136, Carrollton, GA 30112).
