With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vira Kirby (Bowdon, Georgia), born in Randolph, Alabama, who passed away on August 20, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vira Kirby to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Douglas and Loneta Mashburn Wilson; her husband John T. Kirby; and her siblings, Robert Reed Wilson, Burvin Franklin Wilson, Emily Geraldine Rampy, Elma Josephine Roan, Betty Jean Holmes, Sue Nell Rampy and Huel Wayne Wilson.
She is survived by: her son Mark Kirby (Greta); her grandchild Morgan Kirby of Bowdon; her daughter Tammy Kirby Frost (Walley Frost) of Bowdon; her grandchild Ryan Frost (Madi) of Guyton, GA; her great grandchildren, Ethan and Harper Frost; her children, Kevin Frost (Brooke) of Warner Robins, GA and Emily Brown (Keller) of Nashville, TN.; her sister Martha; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Baldwin of Whitesburg, GA and Sara Kirby of Anniston, AL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vira's memory to the Bowdon First Methodist Church.
