It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Duncan Whisenhunt of Bowdon, Georgia, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Woods Duncan and Ruthie Mae Price Duncan; her son Michael Shane Whisenhunt; and her brothers, Sonny Duncan, Buford Duncan and Ricky Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth "Wade" (Susan Whisenhunt) and Sonya DeLynn Whisenhunt (Sonya Weaver); her sister Patsy Pemberton; her grandchildren, Jonathon, Krissy Whisenhunt, Duston, Heather Whisenhunt, Kay, Nick Kendrick, Lee and Macie Whisenhunt; and her great grandchildren, Braxton Whisenhunt, Jaxson Whisenhunt, Lynnox Whisenhunt, Mattie Whisenhunt, Raeleigh Whisenhunt, Payton Harper, Karsyn Kendrick, Cooper Kendrick, Kenzlie Whisenhunt and Paisley Whisenhunt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
