He is survived by: his parents, Steve Thornton and Joan Griffis; his stepmother Deborah Thornton; his significant other April Thornton; his children, Heidi (Kody Smith), Hunter Thornton and Harley (Jose Ibarra); his grandchildren, Laken Smith, Hank Smith and Abel Ibarra; and his siblings, Angela (Jimmy Hannah), Missy (Mike Abbott), Shannon (Rhonda Richardson) and Elisa Wessinger. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
