He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Louie Moses and Gwendolyn Gainey Moses; his son Ira Moses; his sister Janice; his brothers-in-law, Curtis Sanders, Charles Shoemake and Randy Gallaway; his niece Susan Shoemake; and his nephew Master John Steven Moses.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Whitman Moses; his children, James of Bowdon, Georgia, Leah DeVere of Bowdon, Georgia, Lisa Kelley of Bowdon, Georgia, Katie of Bowdon, Georgia and Marty Gann of Bowdon, Georgia; his brother Johnny; his sister-in-law Janice Moses of Equality, Ala; his sisters, Gayle Moses Galloway of Bowdon and Beverly Moses Shoemake of Roopville; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Kayla DeVere of Loganville, Brayden Gann of Bowdon, Nathan, Jacob Kelley of Roopville, Dylan, Devin Gann of Carrollton and Kasey McGrath of Columbus. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; 14 nieces and nephews; 43 great nieces and nephews, and 17 great, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners, in honor of his son, Ira "Mo-Mo" Moses.
