He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Ayers Smith and Lillian McGuire Smith; and his siblings, Burien Smith, JoAnne Stewart and Francis Prince.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Phillips Smith; his children, Cheree Scott, Russell Smith (Misty) and Randall Smith (Tracey); his grandchildren, Mackensi Scott, Sidney Smith, Ethan Smith, Mason Smith and Owen Smith; and his siblings-in-law, J. W. Stewart and Rita Entrekin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108).
