It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nelle Perkins (Bowdon, Georgia), born in Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on August 13, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. S. Stowers and Nelle Stowers; her husband Ben Perkins; and her brother Jan Stowers. She is survived by: her children, Mark W. Perkins (Violet), Matthew P. Perkins (Sharon), Marla E. Rogers (Jerry) and Mitzi J. Hanegan (Tim); her brother Danny Stowers (Loretta); and her sister-in-law Eva Hill (J. D.). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
