It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlyan Heard Williamson of Bowdon, Georgia, born in Randolph, Alabama, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Heard and Ilene Bailey Heard; and her husband Jerry Steve Williamson. She is survived by: her children, Lori (Chad Pope) of Bremen and Daniel (Meagan Williamson) of Carrollton; her sister Linda Gore of Franklin; and her granddaughter Jordan Pope of Bremen.
