He was predeceased by: his parents, Escol Woodard and Beulah Weaver Woodard; and his siblings, Johnny, Freddy Woodard and Ann Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Woodard of Bowdon; his children, Daniel Woodard of Bowdon, Mark (Vanessa Woodard) and Donna; his son-in-law Andy Richie of Carrollton, Georgia; his siblings, Bobby Woodard, Terry Woodard, Danny Woodard and Sybil Harris; and his grandchildren, Ryan Reeves, Logan Reeves, Mason Richie and Bradley Woodard. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
