She was predeceased by: her husband James Edwin Pope; her daughters, Diane Pierce and Brenda Pope; and her siblings, Mollie Ann Parker, Byron Calhoun, Linda Hurst and Joyce Blackman.
She is survived by: her children, Larry James Pope (Dewonna), Darlene Herring and Kimberly Thompson; her grandchildren, April Stafford (Kirk), Jeff Summerlin, Sonja Gibson (Ray), Glenn Pierce, Brandy Fokken, Paige Williams (Michael), Autumn Bradley, Kendall Pope (Rachel), Matt Pope, Chelsea Titus (Kyle), Zoe Watson (Desmond), Ali Sheiffield (Cody) and Brett Thompson; and her brother Leland Calhoun. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
