It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elidge Turner of Bowdon, Georgia, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Looney Monroe Turner and Aurie Williamson Turner; his wife Jessie Mae Turner; and his son Stephen Turner. He is survived by: his children, Frankie Turner (Jan Turner) and Sherry Self (late Ray Self); his grandchildren, Buddy Turner (Denise Turner), Angela T. Fordham (Keith Fordham), Regina T. Powell (Aaron Powell), Josh Turner (LeeAnn Turner), Phillip Turner and Coli Escher (Cris Escher); and his siblings, Florene Daniel, Flossie Smith, Everlene Turner Reece, James Turner, Bobby Turner and Virginia King. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandson.
