He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Turner and Mary Turner (Lovvorn); his wife Judy Turner (Robinson); and his brother Terry Turner (Gloria). He is survived by: his daughter Tracy (David Vaught); his granddaughter Tessa Scherer; his stepgrandchildren, Pierce and Brooke Vaught; and his siblings, Calvin Turner (Julia), Kenneth "Pete" Turner (Louise), Lynda Allen, Charles "Bill" Turner (Denise) and Victoria "Vickie" Austin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rainwater Funeral Home (317 N Carroll St, Bowdon, GA 30108). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
