He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clayton Farmer and Inez Farmer; his wife Grace Farmer; his daughter Sandra Farmer Farr; and his brothers, L. C. Farmer and Willie Joe Farmer.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny (Lynn Farmer), Ronnie (Regina Famer) and Peggy Farmer Stone; and his siblings, Kirby Ray, Fannie Bell Farmer, Glenda and Wayne Lovvorn. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
