It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Walker Griffis (Bowdon, Georgia), who passed away on March 13, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Edmond Griffis; his wife Karen Joan Laminack Griffis; his son Cory Griffis; and his siblings, Mary Reed, Herman Griffis and Charles Griffis.
He is survived by: his parent Bertha Hunt Griffis; his daughters, Pam Washington of Carrollton and Kristin Strain of Bowdon; and his siblings, Barbara Clay of Dawsonville, Carol Foster of Carrollton, Sarah Nelson of Goodwater, AL and Larry Griffis of Jasper, FL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
