He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Cary Railey and Eunice Crawford Railey; his wife Dorothy Carol Railey; and his grandsons, Matthew Hunter Huey and William Matthew Waters-McManus.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne Heard (Bryant), Anne Daniel (Anthony), Louise Howard (Gene) and Jimmie Cook (Jerry). He is also survived by "Paw Paw" to his 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great- great, grandchild.
