We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2021, at the age of 71, David Lee Boyd of Bowdon, Georgia, born in Dalton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vick Boyd and Sarah Jane Barnard Boyd; his sister Barbara Puckett; his brother-in-law Hayden Whitmire; and his great-niece Emily Caldwell.

He is survived by: his sisters, Helen Whitmire and Patricia (Jimmy Patterson); his stepgrandchildren, Patty Olivia Gladden, Suzanna Alexus Gladden and Haley Margaret Elizabeth Gladden; and his close friend David Loyd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
