He is survived by: his children, Lisa, James Hudgins of Heflin, Danny, Patricia Payne of Bowdon and Lenita Payne; and his siblings, Wilford Payne of Carrollton and Gena Payne of Roopville, Georgia. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a number of aunts, uncles cousins, nieces, and nephews.
