He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Boyd and Vinnie Heflin Boyd; and his wife Linda Ethel Marable Dyer. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Dyer Williams of Atlanta, GA, Amos F. Dyer, Jr. of Bowdon, GA and Michael R. Dyer (Cynthia) of Lexington, SC; his niece Kimberly L. Kight of Jonesboro, GA; and his siblings, Nora Ohara of Atlanta, GA, Elizabeth Burroughs of Atlanta, GA, Christeen Robbins (Aaron) of Atlanta, GA, Clarence Boyd of Atlanta, GA and William Morris of Indianapolis, IN.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
