He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Debbie Highsmith; his brother Roger Highsmith; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Murphy; his nephew Frank Murphy; his daughters, Annette Wiley James, Hope Chastain and Janet Wilson Howard; his friends, Hershel and Esther Finch; and his close friend Bobby Murphy.
