We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2021, at the age of 88, James Claude Tanner Jr. of Boston, Georgia, born in Brooks, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Claude Tanner and Alma Connor Tanner; and his wife Lillian Slaton Tanner. He is survived by: his children, Terry Tanner (Marcia Trawick) of Marietta, GA, Larry Tanner of Boston, Christy Tanner Smith (David) of Eastover, SC, Carey Tanner (Sissy) of Boston and Mark Tanner (Janet) of Boston; and his sister June Tanner Thompson of Odessa. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
In leu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to the Boston Cemetery fund, 109 S Main St, Boston, GA 31626.
