It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Estelle Mims of Boston, Georgia, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles David and Ella J Cannon; her spouse Thomas J Mims; and her granddaughter Heather Mims Daughtry. She is survived by: her children, David Mims (Debbie) of Tallahassee, Sandra Brookerd (Reese) of Boston Ga, Mike Mims (Harriett) of Thomasville Ga and Jeff Mims (Julie) of Boston; her grandchildren, JJ Giles (Bill) of Boston, Shannon Yentzer (Rick) of Boston, Ethan Mims of Boston, Garret Mims of Boston, Johnathan Mims of Thomasville, Christi Rowan, Clint Daughtry and Justin Mims (Haley) of Tallahassee; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Elyse Giles, Ben, Ava, Jacob Yentzer, Lily, Dylan Daughtry, Layton Rowan and Mark Mims.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home (110 W Hansell St, Thomasville, GA 31792). A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (10526 US-84, Thomasville, GA 31757).
