It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Vandiver of Boneville, Georgia, born in Washington, Georgia, who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Michael McAvoy and Kate Smith McAvoy; her husband Jimmy Lee Vandiver; and her son James Roy Vandiver. She is survived by: her children, Annie Frances "Sally" Kitchens of Thomson and Vernon "Buddy" Vandiver (Margaret) of Washington; and her grandchildren, Ann Bowden, Smokey Kitchens, Keith Ball, Kay Coleman, Kathy Garrison and Tina Carter. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren; and 4 great great great grandchildren.
