She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester O. Ferguson and Emma Florence Ferguson of Maine; her son-in-law Johnny R. Palmer; her granddaughter Florence Palmer; and her siblings, Shelby, John Monroe, Billy and Walt of Maine.
She is survived by: her husband Harlow Jefferson McDaniel, Sr.; her children, Lisa M. Melvin, Tracy L. Palmer and Harlow "Jeff" Jefferson McDaniel, Jr. (Melissa J.); her grandchildren, Victoria I. Palmer, Christina A. Palmer, Mystie M. Mingledorff, Thaddeus L. Melvin and Shawn M. McDaniel; and her siblings, Donna Brown (David), Gail Greene (Ronnie), Annie, Latha, Jimmy (Peggy) and Terry (Marilyn) of Maine.
