It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Eckmann of Bonaire, Georgia, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin James and Bonnie Earl Eckmann (Johnson); and his son Jordan Eckmann. He is survived by: his siblings, Cynthia Holland, Sherrill Jordan, Phillip Isham and Danny Morris; and his niece Shirrell Robinson Crutchfield. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
