She was predeceased by: her parents, Miller Thomas and Inez Bowie; her husband Herman Barlow; her siblings-in-law, JB and Opal Barlow; her sister Eloise Dunbar; and her cousin James Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Ramona Barlow of Warner Robins, GA, Monica Rushing (Corey) of Warner Robins, GA, Marlon Barlow of Bonaire, GA., Thomasina Everett, Shontay Williams and Roderick Williams; and her grandchildren, Raimontye, Dar'Ranica, Deonte', D'Khari, Kamari, Anya, Keegan and Kayleigh.
