With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harvey C. Elder (Bonaire, Georgia), born in Abbeville, Georgia, who passed away on March 31, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harvey C. Elder to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. "Jim" Elder and Lear McBryant Elder; his wife Carolyn L. Elder; and his sisters, Sara Jane Brown and Grace Daniels Attaway.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Eberhardt (Rick) of Albany and Judy Smith (Dane) of Butler; his grandson David Eberhardt of Albany; his sons, Michael Eberhardt of Albany, Cullen Smith of Savannah and Drew Smith of Athens; and his sister Mary Bissette of Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Harvey C. Elder to Bonaire United Methodist Church, 221 Church Street, Bonaire, Georgia 31005.
