He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur Bowman Sr. and Lillie Ann Nuckolls Bowman; his sister Frances Bowman Knowles; and his wife Hilda Lance Bowman. He is survived by: his children, Steve Bowman and Linda Bowman-Lundy (Harold) of Statham, GA; his granddaughter Ashley Lundy; his former spouses, David Lance (Teresa) of Franklin, TN and Tim Lance (Melissa) of Lebanon, TN; and also, Diane Winstanley of Bogart, GA and Chris Lundy (Katie O'Toole) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Box 149, Watkinsville, GA 30677 (oconeeconnection.org) Both are organizations he loved and generously supported for their compassionate service to the local communities.
