Orie D. Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orie D. Smith of Bogart, Georgia, born in McRae, Georgia, who passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Orie D. Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos D. Smith and Amanda Pope Smith; his former wife Sue Smith; and his brothers, Willie Lee Varnadoe (Irene), Morris Smith (Omie) and Ed Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Smith (Kimberly) of Canton, GA and Michael Smith (Laura) of Bogart, GA; his grandchildren, Ethan, Regan, Bryson, Parker and Gavin Smith; his sisters, Justine Allen and Carlene Smith; and his wife Dorothy Smith (Posey). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
