She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herman and Imma Logan Brooks; and her husband Emory "Bud" Carson. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Williams (Buck) of Watkinsville, Darrell Sosbee (Beverly) of Athens and Johnny Carson (Amy) of Athens; and her friend Stephens. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
