She was predeceased by: her parents, Bascam Henry Clanton and Edith Irene Giddens; her husband James "Jimmy" Brantley; her daughter Edith Denise Brantley; and her brother Richard Clanton.
She is survived by: her son James M. Brantley (Vickie) of Kwajalein Island; her sister Barbara Walton of Savannah, GA; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Linda Brantley Allen of Lakeland, GA and Beverly Clanton of Lakeland, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
